Privacy Policy

Todo Mailer is designed to keep your todo data under your control. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

1. Information stored by the extension

Todo Mailer stores your todo items, completion status, timestamps, and display settings in your browser's local extension storage. Todos may be separated by the signed-in account so they are not mixed between accounts. The retention setting controls when expired todos are removed automatically. You can also delete individual todos or sign out at any time.

2. Account information

If you create an account or sign in, Todo Mailer uses Supabase Authentication to process your email address, account identifier, and authentication credentials. Passwords are handled by Supabase and are not accessible to Todo Mailer. Supabase processes this data according to its own privacy policy.

3. Email delivery

To send todos by email, Todo Mailer calls a backend service over HTTPS, authenticated with your Supabase session token. The backend sends the message through a configured SMTP provider to your confirmed account email address. Todo Mailer does not read your inbox or any other email messages.

Todo text is included in messages you ask Todo Mailer to send. The SMTP provider may retain sent messages and related metadata under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Sharing and third parties

Todo Mailer does not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising. The extension communicates with Supabase for authentication and with its backend service for email delivery. These services may process information as described in their respective privacy policies.

5. Data retention and deletion

Local todos remain in the browser until you delete them or the selected retention period removes them. You can remove local extension data through your browser's extension storage controls. You can delete your Todo Mailer account through the authentication provider's available account controls. Contact us if you need help with a deletion request.

6. Security

Todo Mailer uses browser extension storage and a Supabase session token rather than collecting or storing your email password. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Todo Mailer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the extension or its data practices change. The updated policy will be published with a new effective date.
